FRI. OCT. 28, 1910 8 o'clock at printers. In office till six. Working with Cotillion. Went home to dinner with Mrs Robins.

SATURDAY 29 40 - 27 In office early came home at 4.30. Hallowe'en ball at night in Illinois Hall. got home near 2. Very tired.

SUNDAY 30 Worked all morning on correspondence. Mrs Robins came in afternoon to discuss strike methods. Miss Addams frightened.

MON. OCT. 31, 1910 Chairman of press covering strike. Tremendously busy day at office. At night went to suffrage "party" meeting at City Club. Took Miss Ryan

TUESDAY, NOV. 1 Went picketing at Lamm & Cos. [Co?]. Saw police brutality. All day most busy at strike work.

WEDNESDAY 2 Went picketing in afternoon on Milwaukee & Robey. Saw brutal police. Aggressive & insolent of manner.

THURS. NOV. 3, 1910 Misses Murphy & Moore called at office. Busy on strike work. In evening dined at Carricabbie & went to Congress Hotel after with Australian visitors.

FRIDAY 4 48 -35 Very busy all day at office. During afternoon took little Annie Rudnitsky to photographer. Supper with Mrs Robins Miss Dudley and Agnes at Merkle's

SATURDAY 5 At office all day. Great slump when we heard of agreement. Tremen-dous excitement when it was repudiated. Went to see Fritizi [Fritzi] Scheff in Mikado

SUN. NOV. 6, 1910 Went to Mrs Robins at ten. Worked on Statement. At 3 came to office & Olive & I worked on testimony. Olive, Mrs R. Mr Mullenbach & I dined at Merkle's at night. Just dead exhausted. Peeped into Federation meeting.

MONDAY 7 Very exhausted. Nothing special in strike went home at 4.30. Went to see Bernhardt in the Sorcerers at night.

TUESDAY 8 All day at strike. Quite still owing to election.

WED. NOV. 9, 1910 Another quiet day Went picketing at Jefferson & Adams with Mrs Lee.

THURSDAY 10 45 - 29 Went to Court with Goldie Cohen in morning. Mrs Snowden came to office in afternoon.

FRIDAY 11 Terrible jam of people at 275 La Salle coming for money
