28 Sun
Grey day with some fog. Did chores in room.
Feeling very spent. I wonder does Martin know
how much I am helping him.
29 Mon
Nice day. Mr Martin and I went to Frames
about tour. Busy day. I stayed late and
finished up. Then I called on Miss Wood on
Kenton Street.
30 Tues
Coldish day. Very busy in office, not a moment
to breathe. Mr Elgood came in afternoon also
Mr Hubbard. Stayed late to finish up and home
very late. No bath of course. Mrs Maynard
called for a moment
31 Wed
Fine spring day. Very busy in office with new
man. Mrs Aldridge called and was offensive.
Got home very tired and took to my bed.
