4 Sun
Lovely warm day. Wore my black velvet dress
without coat and went to Lady Byles' luncheon
at Albemarle Club. Also there Maurice Healey,
Mr & Mrs F. Unwin & Maurice's mother.
Walked home and had a rest and went for
supper to Kath & her mother, 131 Cheyne Walk.
Found Mrs Unwin very frail and didn't like her
symptoms. Raining as I came home.

5 Mon
Nice warm day. Sunshine. Did chores. Tired
and depressed. Do [?] practically
all the time. Wrote letters.

6 Tues
Sun in morning. Grey after lunch. Miss Lawson
came to Minerva Club. In evening I went to
Gretna Green Hippodrome to see Oscar Asche &
Marie Lohr in "Big Business". Think Oscar
Asche would have done better to have taken
"Old Blastus". Rained in night.

7 Wed
Raining as I went to office. Busy day. Tulips
lovely in Russell Square. No progress yet.
