anxious to get them done. We got all done except 21 and we
will finish in the Morning. We put 24 lbs of Clover &
bushels of Oats on the old garden about 3 1/2 acres Sowed verry
thick
Mag got hom been gone 2 days & nights.

The morning is quite cold, Wind blowing from the North We hear
Mary ann is sick William is going down there today. I hear
Tommas is going Nashville & Fanna & her children is gone to
Mary anns. Monk left this morning bid us all faerwell, for
Nashville & Memphis. I give him $5.00 I owed him $2.25 he was
loth to leave but thought he could do better his sisters &
friends parted with him verry reluctantly all shead tears.
The boys halled up some wood after finishing the plowing in the
