Sun 20 The morning is cloudy Wind from the South I have continued

Self All last Week washing my head in warm watter & Sope suds I

came last night through the rain wet & drunk. Stayed all

night & left this morning after breakfast. What a pitty he

is making such a beast of himself he has been quite a cleaver

& good meening man & one of my warm friends. I feel sorry

to see him abuse himself the way he is doing

Charley & Plim has been haling rales & building up the corn-

field fence around the old turnip patch
