Calvin ) I have setled & paid off Calvin Freerson the Carpenter for
Freerson (
paid off ) his work last fall upon the Smoke house his work come to 16½
days at $1.00 pr day $16.50 I had paid him in cash $8.50
leaving a ballence of $8.00 I give him Tom McCanless Act of
Tom McCanless)
$10.75, & $2.00 cash in payment of his debt $8.00, he made
$4.00 off me in the settlement. I took Calvin recpt in full

of the debt he had agt me. George Porter was witness to it all. )

Mag Mag went to Jack's rode Black Mare My face was verry read and
Self flush all day I became verry uneasy

Sun 5 The morning is partially clear & some cooler the are is mooving
from the East & the few clouds are coming from the West
Mag Mag did not git home last night. The flushness & redness of
Self ) my face yesterday all went off in the evening. I was verry
flushness (
of face ) uneasy for a while It rained about 3 oclock & until night and
Rain all night.

Mon 6 The morning is cloudy looks like rain Wind S. E. Thomas L.
Thos L. came last night stayed until after dinner This is County &
Court Circuit Cort day. Mag come home greate many people in Town
