My life has 76 years( Old) been a checkered Sean of prosperity & adversity, good & bad alternatively through my whole life, upon the whole I have cause to be thankful to kind providence for the many successful events that I have enjoyed from 1st to last Rain &) The boys are halling up wood. It commenced raining & sleating Sleet) in the evening & continued on until late at night. Thomas is Shot) here. Some one shot Lorra's Sow & she has since dyed Lorra's( Sow) Tu 14 The morning is dark & cloudy & a raining the Wind has changed Rain &) Sleet) to the S. E. the ground is slick with Ice having been froze & still froze William did not come home last night but sent William his horse back. Rain It has rained a little through out the day the rain has thawed the ground & it is verry muddy & sloppy William did come home Thos The boys are halling up wood Thomas went to Town & came back Jack again Jack halled a load of his Corn to Town & sold it for $2.50 1868) The morning is cloudy the Wind has shifted towards the W. & Jany( Wed 15) N.
