Mrs James Webster & daughter was up today William William ) is verry unwell Bowels bad off, he is quite unwell sick ) Mon 17 The morning is clear Wind from N. W. William was quite unwell William ) Sick all night Not able to go to Town this morning. I had Sick ) Preston, George & Jack helping get Stocks from dinner to night Preston ( George ) ½ day Charley all day. Jack ( Charley ) Tu 18 The morning is clear & cool Wind still N. & W. William is Wm Preston ) better & is gone to Town I have cutting Stocks Preston George George ( Abe & ) Abe & Charley. Our little red heifer had a calf last night Charley ( Plim ) I don't think it will live. I am to pay $.75 cts per day ( for Cow & ) Calf ) Abe , George & Preston Ike Rogers is halling the Stocks Rogers 1868 ) The morning is cloudy & looks like rain Wind from East. Feb ( Wed 19 ) Mrs James Webster's horse dyed yesterday evening of blind Webster's ) horse ( staggers halled him off this morning.
