weather is some little cooler.

Mon 24 The morning is raining from the South. I made a settlement
Jack work) with Jack for our work he was to pay me a days work for every
& settlement)
&c) day he works my Mules for himself halling &c in the agreement
up to this time he has fallen in my debt Ten days work himself
& wagon This is not to interfere with our other sittlements

Potatoes( I sent by Plim & Charley 16 bushels 18 bushels of Irish potatoes

to Jesse S. Harris to git him to sell for me, a full waggon load

peach blow) I got a barrel of peach blow potatoes they cost $
Meet I took out 11 lbs of Meet at sundown (Sholder)

1868) The morning is verry cloudy What little Wind is astir is from

Tu 25) the West. Mr Hudspeth sent me a verry pretty Bore Shoat of
Hudspeth) the Burkshires breed for which I thank him (It was a present)

Jack Patton halled for Thomas yesterday and today 2 days.

Sterlin) Sterlin has sent 2 hands to cut Stocks at $.75 per day & is to
take it in lumber this is there 1st day.

Press) George & Preston is helping get Stocks today William did not
