Collery ) not paid by 1st Decr another heavy per cent together was costs, the

costs, per cent &c amounts to $20. the whole is now $112. or

$115. dollars

The chickens are dying of Collery 2 or 3 every day & night.

Wed 20 The morning is calm cloudy & cold Hamon came up from B. B.

yesterday but went back George & Preston is working verry

hard gitting up there Corn & Cotton several hired hands.

Corn ) They are making a good Crop. We are giving our chickens

sulphur cropress & lime I think it helps them.

Cotton there Cotton to the Gin. It is at a verry fine price $28.00

pr 100 & still rising. I am sending my Cotton to the Gin

2217 with the rest. I had 2217 lbs in the seed. Jim helped Jack
