Fri 9 The morning is dark & cloudy It commenced rain about 8 oclock

George P 1/2 ) & rained hard until 10 1/2 George P. & Jim worked both half the

$2.30 ) day is helping clean out the seller & Jim (1/2) got 11 1/2 lbs of

good Midling Bacon say 20 Cents making $2.30. ) We have
(
finished to day a place to put our Milk in the Seller of our

smoke house to have it convenient & to keep it cool, the

following dimensions

this pitt is 18 Inch deep to the doors a trap doore made

intirely of brick 13 Inches wide in the clear 52 Inches out side
Milch (
House ) This will hold 3 Watter buckets in the bottom side by side, &
in the (
Seller ) will do to put Milch butter or fresh meets or any thing else

& keep cool all the time. We put milk in at 10 oclock & at dinner

it was quite cool & good for dinner I am much pleased with it.

T Peeler ) Pot, Crowbar & bugg Shafts to mend by (Andy & Felix)

Monk ) Jim cut his Oats put it in my Crib 246 bundles Monk got 2 1/2

bushels Corn (shelled) his Mules has plowed this week
