the morning is cloudy & Raining N. W. It rained nearly all
night Slowly, and cold. Yelling & hollowing & fire crackers
has been the order of last night & today amongst the blacks
I stayed at home fitted & put a handle in the Axe No one
here but some blacks children & me drisled & rained most
of the day

he commenced the 18 July and quit the 24 Dec'r having worked
