Same -- Got note from Bob Lindsay telling me send copy of indictment in the Thomas incest case -- Went to Court Clerk's office & made copy myself and sent it to him by evening train -- Also sent letter to wife, enclosing pass -- At 1 PM attended 1st meeting of the campaign of State Central Committee held at Exempt Firemens

Hall -- Well attended from all parts of the State -- I made a pretty full report of it -- About 1 1/2 columns -- Bed 3:30 --

Same 82 deg -- Mining day and busy as usual -- Bed 2:30 --

Same -- Was on hand at train time -- 10 AM -- but it was not on time, as usual by reason of delay on the CP -- It arrived at 12:20 -- Wife not on board as expected -- Cruised about town & got drunk -- work as usual -- Was at Opera House awhile & saw last 2 acts of "Sam'l of Posen" with M.B. Curtis in the title role -- Fair house -- pretty good play -- Bed at 2 -- Found letter in mail from wife returning pass -- Reno tomorrow --
