(Daget and Chataine's) liquor delivery wagon- Work as usual- Wife came up in office about 8- Piper came in and got us to go up to Opera House and see his new drop curtain, just put up- very fine- Soene in Venice- Took wife to room and went to office and worked until 1- Home- Bed 1:30- Just 3 years and 3 days since I left Golf Hill for Austin-

Wife leaves for Reno again
Sunday May 3
Clear and pleasant- Rose at 10- Took breakfast at Neffron's at 12 N- Home again- At 1PM walked to Gold Hill- Stopped in awhile aat Mrs. Robinson's- Also was at Mrs. Fraser's a short time, next door to the News property- And I, as well as Mary, took good look at what used to belong to us, the trees I planted, etc.- Somehat dilapidated but still in fine order- Then we walked down to Chubbuck's to where we were invited to dinner- Had roasted turkey, etc.- Also very pleasant social chat with Chubbuck and wife- At 5:30 were at Gold Hill depot, Mrs. Chub, and Pennie Robinson accompanying us, and wife left for Reno- I was at Charley (Tobener's) saloon for a while with others, and At 7pm took evening train for Va- Was about town awhile and with John Piper, at Opera House- went with him to Heffron;s and had
