me, John B. Williams, County Recorder in and for said Washoe County Nevada personally appeared Lizzie J. Fannon, wife of S. D. Fannon, personally known to me to be the individual described in and who executed the annexed instrument; and the said Lizzie J. Fannon, wife of said S. D. Fannon, having been by me made acquainted with the contents of said instrument, duly acknowledged to me on examination apart from and without the hearing of her husband, that she executed the same freely and voluntarily and for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, without fear or compulsion or under influence of her husband, and that she does not wish to retract the execution thereof. Witness my hand and official seal at Reno in said County the day and year in this Certificate first above written

Know all men by these presents, that I, Josie Cann of the Town of Reno, in Washoe County, State of Nevada, am the wife of John B. Cann; that it is my desire to avail myself of the provisions of the Act of the Legislature of the State of Nevada entitled "An Act defining the rights of husband and wife" approved March 10, 1873, and to claim and hold the following described Real Estate situated in said Town of Reno as my own separate property; That I have acquired the same by purchase with my own money, and hold the title thereto in my own name. Said property is more fully described as follows; South one half of Lot Fourteen (14) in Block Nine (9), as laid down and designated upon the official map
