To His Excellency the governor of Utah:
We the undersigned qualified voters of Arizona and New-Mexico (Handwritten) ^and Texas (Typed) believing
the the sentence of Joe Hillsterm now awaiting execution Sept. 28th.,
1915 is unjust and that he not ^been^['being'striked out] given the oppertunity of a fair and
unbiased trail, [xxxx?] wish to protest said sentence and request
that you use your authority to commute said sentence, with a view to
his obtaining ^another trial.
