To His Excellency the governor of Utah:

We the undersigned qualified voters of Arizona, New-Mexico and Texas
believing that the sentence of Joe Hillstrom now awaiting execution Sept
28th., 1915 is unjust and that he has not been given the opportunity
of a fair and unbiased trial, wish to protest against said sentence
and request that you use your authority to commute said sentence, with a
view to his obtaining another trial:
