Dec. 20th, 1915.

Mr. Charles Morse,
825 East 70th St.,
Seattle, Washington.

My dear Sir:

I write this letter in appreciation of your
expression of approval of my action in the Hillstrom
case as contained in your letter of November
20th. It is a source of much satisfaction to know
that the men of experience and loyalty to American
institutions are behind us in our efforts to enforce
law and order in this state.

I have taken pleasure in showing your letter
to the members of the Board of Pardons who join
with me in this expression of thanks for your approval
and support.

Very truly yours,
Governor.
