My Dear Governor

I have just come in from the
mountains and perused all the intricacies and
preliminaries leading up to the execution of one
Joe Hillstrom, and while I never had the
pleasure of meeting you I hasten to write and
sincerely congratulate you upon the firm stand
you have taken leading up to the execution of
the cowardly and anarchistic assassin. I have
read your manifests since the memorable
incident and appreciate the patriotic sentiments
expressed therein and firmly hope you succeed
in abolishing the anarchistic soap box oratorical
buzzards from the illustrious state of Utah.
You have stood the acid test and given a
clear demonstration of your executive ability and
I earnestly hope that every true and patriotic
American Citizen will back you up in your
noble work with best wishes for your future
welfare is the fervent prayer of yours very
respectfully
