NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 1915

Hon. Governor of Utah,

Dear Sir:

I wish to add my appeal to the
thousands of others for the life of Joe
Hill.

I do not believe Joe Hill guilty
of the crime charged against him. The
State of Utah would have an unforgetable
blot against its fair name in taking the
life of an innocent man. Secondly, I do
not believe Society gains any, nor sets
a good example by taking the life of its
citizens.

I fervently pray you will take
cognizance of the hope of thousands that
Joe Hill's life be spared.

I am,

Very respectfully yours,

Henry G. Wincor M. D.
