Mon. 19 Washed. Sorted papers & clothes. Very tired.

Tues 19 to Ref. library & worked all afternoon. Very cold.

Wed 19 Mr. Small here. To Property Com. Snow. To Falconer Hall to Women's Faculty Union dinner. I spoke on Western travellers.

Fri. 19 Joan here for lunch. Council met & F.R.O.S. Arts Ball, received & talked to people, lovely time. Lovely pink corsage

Sat. 19 Downtown & shopped a little. Sewed & heard new opera "Vanessa" very peaceful day.

FEBRUARY 2

19 Went with Hugh to shop. Sorted & packed furiously. Letter from Mary. Milder.

Wed 19 Had my hair done. Shopped. Revised Southesk To Symphony with Anne - Walton's Antarctic Symphony & Franchescotti

19 Snowing. Letters from Hugh Lil & Marie Unson. To Elliott's for dinner, Clarks & Bladen there. Then to M. Brydon's staff party, very nice.

19 Typed all morning. Joan, Anne B. & I to Royal Alex. to see "The Chalk Garden" with Judith Anderson & Cathleen Nesbitt. Nice time. Tired.

Sun. 19 To church, to Hugh's for dinner. Miss West drove me back. To hear cello player at H.H. - Zara Nelsova - splendid.

FEBRUARY 3

19 Worked on "Fur Trade." Got D's stuff off to Kingston Anne, Jean McLaurin & I to Symphony & had coffee.

19 Rented typewriter. Mine hopeless. Revised. Letter from D. Made cheese cake.

Fri. 19 Council meeting at 3. Dinner at Falconer. To Arts Ball, received with Jeannerets & Bissells - very nice.

Sun. 19 Dinner here. typed. Tea here, walked round Parl. bldgs. with Anne B. Lovely mild evening.

19 Residence Expansion Com. met here. Revising report. Dinner at Mulock.

19 Downtown to Fred's office. got hall carpet & lunch with Laura Duff. Men cleaning cellar. Sold stove & washer.

Fri 19 Downtown & got groceries & dress. Cold. Typed. Alan Cairns here for dinner. He & Anne to hockey.

Sat. 19 In office all morning. To library. Anne & I to look at dresses for A. D's wedding. A & I to see "Mr. Roberts" - excellent.

Mon. 19 Residence Council me here. Letters & many people coming in. Sunny & mild. Dinner at Mulock.

Tues. 19 Principal's meeting. Joan & Anne Hammond here for lunch. Many interviews. Letter from Donald. Very tired.

Fri. 19 Sorted & packed. To village to shop. Letter from Donald.

Sat 19 Anne to Rattlesnake Point. Sylka cleaned. Shopped & typed. Heard "Carmen" on radio.

Sun. 19 Wrote letters. To Creightons for supper. Don & I talked about biography. Anne, Rosie & I to H.H. orchestra - Lovely concert.

19 To Eaton Audit. To Women's Can. Club to hear Dean V. Douglas on the Geophysical Year, reception & tea. Met many people.

Wed. 19 Letter from Mary. Bright, lovely day. Scholarship Com. met. Com. for W.H. Formal met. To see "The Cherry Orchard" with Joan & Hugh. Very good.
