Willcox, & thirty five by Capt Cant, in all one hundred & seventy nine; & bills of exchang [exchange] on you are twenty pounds fourteen shillings & two pence to Colonel Grymes, eight pounds to Chs. Stagg, fourty or fifty one pounds to Mrs. Ann Walter, fourty five pounds eighteen shillings & four pence to Mr. Lightfoot, ninety six pounds twelve shillings & a penny to Mr. Wm. Prentis, twenty four pounds two shillings & nine pence to Lord Fairfax, thirty five pounds to Francis Willis, & two hundred sixty seven pounds six pence to myself which making in all five hundred eighty nine pounds thirteen shillings & eight pence must needs give you great surprise without a proper explication.
