And another to Mrs. Judith Page [in pencil: see page 37] for two hundred & fifty pounds, which we believe will be very agreeable to you, since it will be little more trouble than transfering from one accot. [account] to another. And we know of no others bills that we shall draw this year on you unless the moiety of what may be necessary for the payments of our brother Robert's debts which are not very considerable and we believe cannot be disagreeable, since it is design'd [designed] that the produce of the estate which our father intended for him, had he liv'd [lived], shall annually be consign'd [consigned] hereafter to yourself and Mr. Dawkins.

Our brother the secretary has indeed drawn on you for three hundrend pounds payable to Colo. [Colonel] Grymes which we could not have refuse[d] letting him have out of our fathers estate as he was residuary legacie for 1/3 part of it, but as he was unwilling to be too early in making use of the joint stock before matters are intirely [entirely] settled; he chose rather to rely on your friendship to him, & to draw on some tobo. [tobacco] which he sends you this year on his own accot. [account].

It is a misfortune to us that Mr. Bradley, whose reputation has been so publickly [publicly] vindicated by the merchants, who were very diligent last year (last year) in giving notice of his publick [public] [in pencil: see page 63] sale with some hints of their apprehensions concerning him, should keep us out of almost a thousand pounds. We desire that you will make a fresh demand upon him, and give a receipt only for what money you receive. And for the rest we shall let him have an opportunity of vindicating his conduct in the Court of Chancery. We thank you for your good offices with Mr. Hide but arbitration are methos [methods] we are not at all fond of believing that a Lord Chancellor is like
