1.2 May the 22nd 1880 Proceedings as follows-- The business of the mneeting was read and the unfinished business taken up. A Arington Treasurer gave his bond for two thousand dollars- with two Securities - Bro H V Porter & Payton Smith which was approved. It was also made a law or confirm by a general vote, Mr F Weaver Shall hold the bond given by the treasurer. A resolution was made and adopted that every member of this association shall pay in his monthly dues of twenty five cents each, commencing from the night of the 12th June. Also a decree was made all who comes in after the 12th June, will to pay more; every month from June the 12th twenty five cents in addition to his regular fee respectively each month adds twenty five cents more. And this continues to increase unitl it gets to a certain amount that will be hereafter specified. And further we have adopted that our regular meetings shall be held on the Sec.d Saturday night of every month.

Proceedings continued of the 13 22 nd It was further ordered that the clerk shall get a book to record the business and transaction of of the lodge in. The building committee give acct of their business; which was the procuring of lumber + repairing the house of Mrs. Dudley Gordon's to order, purchase all necessary things from the Store. The bill of expences was taken up of which amounted to 3 dols + 14 cts.

The following is the workmen's bill. From the 5th 1880.

Wm. M. Reeves work four days for the Lodge + four days for G. Gordon @ $1.25 per day, 4 days @ 4 day @ $1.25 = 10 dols.

Jos. Price work four days for the Lodge + five days for G. Gordon, @ $1.00 per day. Mr. G. Gordon is charged for 5 7 3 ft planks. The Lodge is charged with 6 lbs nails @ 5 ct per lb = 30 cents. Done by order and committee @. M. Reeves

14 Business of the 12th June 1880 The first thing on docket was, the money in the hands of the treasurer [Frotem], Jas Price, to be returned over to the worthy treasurer _ A. Arrington; after all deductions are made of the debts then hanging. The balance of the money was layed in the treasury- The treasurer given his bond with good and approved security; The face of the bond hearing the Amt of two hundred dollars. But the treasurer is only held responsible for which he gives receipts for. The bond drawn with condition; That the said treasurer shall only be responsible for the money in the treasury. Mr. James Price than come forward returned over all the money in his hands. But two dollars after which it was replaced. The building committee presented their bill of building and laboring expenses, which amounted to twenty nine dollars; It was paid. The bills of Items were then presented its Amt is $3.16 Mr Roebuck's bill come up for consideration 50 was agreed is [isfrom] and paid. Bill of clerk books was 40 cts, agreed [illegible]
