For the purpose of encouraging agriculture in all its varieties, the undersigned have associated themselves together as a society and adopt the following

Constitution

1.
This society shall be called the "Milwaukee
County Agricultural Society"

2.
Any person residing in the county of Milwaukee
may become a member of this society by signing
the constitution, and paying annually the sum
of one dollar,
and honorary members may be 3. admittedly a vote at the society—

There shall be an annual meeting of this society
held at Milwaukee on the first Tuesday of
the transacting such other business as may be
deemed necessary: and the President shall
give at least three weeks public notice of the
time and place of holding said meetings.

4.
The officers of the society shall be a President,
three Vice Presidents, a Secretary, +corresponding secretary, a Treasurer, and
Seven Directors who shall hold their offices for
one year and until their successors are dually
elected: They shall not be entitled to any com=
=pensation for their reviews:
And they shall together con=
=stitute a Board of Directors to manage
the affairs of the society. [illegible] of whom shall
constitute a quorum for 5 [illegible] [illegible]—

It shall be the duty of the President, or
in his absence of a Vice President to preside
at all meeting of the Society and of the
Board of [Managers] Directors.

It shall be the duty of the Secretary to
keep a record of the proceedings of the society
and of the Board of Directors.
