Dear Sirs.

Your esteemed favor came duly to hand covering $5.00 for the renewal of your father's subscription to this journal.*

Doubtless before this time No. 97 has reached him and altho' it was rather late for a Christmas present, we hope it was not the less agreeable.

We have taken the liberty to send also Nos. 94, 95, 96 which will make his series good, these, we shall feel obliged if he will accept from us in token of a long and agreeable acquaintance by letters.
