One paper that is omitted in the list was
on our great lakes written for the
British Association for Advancement of Science.
He was a member of many scientific
associations - among others the Royal Society of
Northern Antiquaries, Copenhagen of which
the Crown Prince was president. He was later
Frederick 7th of Denmark.
I am enclosing with this quotations from two
letters written by old family friends. They will
give you one idea of the love and regard
of all who knew him. We have many
letters of the kind.
The list in the other package need not
ne returned - the other articles are marked
to be returned.
