MONDAY, 13
Cold day with heavy fall
of snow nearly all day.
In afternoon drove the
Gov [crossed out] to Macbeth's. Macbeth
out of his mind. Letters
from Fanty.

Mild. About 2 in, more snow last
night. Rain during the day and
very sloppy. Quarter Sessions
begun: heavy dockout. Governor
off to St Thomas & Sam to Chatham.

WEDNESDAY, 15
Almost hot weather [is come from south?]
very sloppy. Governor home from
St Thomas at 6:30 p.m. Drove in
the little carriageto meet him
but missed him. Finished

River very high causing an ice jam
