Very hot. In afternoon
went out cockshooting with
Alick. Saw nothing.
Clayton & Benny Cronyn
to dinner. Miss Gzsowski
left at 12 a.m. G.T.R.

FRIDAY, 28.
Fine day but rainy all
evening & night. Alick and Dick
off to Toronto at 6.30 a.m.& back
at night. Drove in & met
them. Sent Jack off to Bothwell
by Col. Cross.

SATURDAY, 29
Fine day. London v Hamilton
C. Match. London won by 38 runs.
Spent all the aternoon
looking on.

Hot day. Morning service
with Co Flo & Alick. Stayed
at home all afternoon & evg.

MONDAY, 31.
Very hot. Practised cricket
in afternoon with Bill &
Dick. Gov & Alick off to
Toronto & back at 8.30 p.m.
Decided that Alick to go
on the Grand Trunk as clerk
in Spicer's office.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 1.
Very hot. Spent the afternoon
at the Cronyn's with Co Flo
& Alice at Croquet and took
tea there.
