The members for Toronto, Quebec, Kingston, Ottawa, and
Goderick spoke. I like Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa
best. They were eloquent. Always in French. I will
describe the town of Toronto, and American hotels
to-morrow. It is too late now, being a quarter to three
and I am getting tired. I shall give you an account
of my next journey daily, as I have done on the

Saturday-Night. This morning we paid our hotel bill
and sallied off to our lodgings, which we like better than
the hotel. One feels more at home. The landlady a
Mrs. Dunlop, is a Scotchwoman, a good, motherly dame.
It has been very hot to-day, but I have not felt it at
all, as I have quite a treasure in my linens. Rossin
Hotel is a very large one, twice or three times as large
