18 Fresh breeze east these 24 hours with frequent rain showers - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.82 to 29.52 - 1st asst went fishing - 2nd asst working in the shop.

19 Fresh breeze to light wind S. east these 24 hours with rain showers - Sea quite smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.52 to 29.88 - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail and supplies.

20 Fresh to moderate breeze S. east to east these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours rain - Last part of 24 hours cloudy & damp - Sea rough - General duties for day - Barometer 29.38 to 29.80 - 1st asst went fishing - 2nd asst working in his wood shed.

1 Fresh breeze south to N. west these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours hard rain - Last part of 24 hours fair weather - Sea rough - Barometer 29.92 to 30.34 - 1st asst went fishing & showing two visitors in tower - 2nd asst returned to sta. at 3 P.M.

2 Light N. east wind these 24 hours with clear fine & cool weather - Sea moderately smooth - Barometer 30.42 - Keeper & assts putting 200 gallons of oil in oil butts - 2nd asst washing - 1st asst went fishing - Keeper went to Newport after mail & important business.

3 Light N. east wind dry & cool and clear weather - Sea very smooth - Barometer 30.42 to 30.00 today. Keeper working in garden - Also 2nd asst working in garden - 1st asst went fishing outside of gate.

4 Fresh breeze and gale east with clear fine & cool these 24 hours - Sea very smooth - Barometer 30.00 to 29.90 - General duties for the day - Keeper & 2nd asst working in garden - 1st asst went to Newport after mail & supplies and went fishing.
