18th began to sew Oats in evening this
day, sewed Plant Beds over —

19 Sewing Oats and cleaning up new
ground, Mr. Lain Riving boards to cover
waggon House, fine weather at last

20 covered waggon House sewing
oats & planted Irish potatoes & covered them
with leaves, 8 loads put on the patch,

21 Raining this morning & cool -

22nd Clear Plowing for corn, treading
Oats & malling wood in new ground

23 Halling up Logs to 12 oclock out of new^ground
Then sewing Oats

24 Sewing oats Halling wood out of new ground

25. Sewing Oats & Halling out wood

26 This morning Raining Thrashing Oats &
Fed went to mill Halled manure ^{& shoemaking}in garden
in evening turned quite cold

27 This morning fair & cold we
are Halling wood^{waggon & cart,}& cleaning up new ^ground
Tremendous windy day —

28 moderate day — went to Mrs Coleman

29 Sewing Oats Fed Halling manure to
Plant Bed on mountain etc
Burnt little Plant Bed in ^{& sewed in}Garden

30 Sewing Oats & began to collar in
our new ground—
let Mr John D Hunt^haveour Load Stacks
& nearly ½ Bushel Buck Wheat —
Plant goard^seedlast week

31 Rained last night Plowing for corn
Then sewing oats. Coltering in new ground
quite windy Aprl 1st Sewing Oats.

2 Aprl. Sewing oats & collering in new ground
