was of draft age.

Jewell; my boss & Supt. is going to
leave as he is dissatisfied & as
things are going now & from statements
it looks as though I am to take
his place. It will be kind of hard
for there will be a great deal
of things I know nothing of
such as binders. Of course
I can "bull" through it. Maybe I won't
be elected so I won't crabb if I am
not. If I should I might drag
$150.00 by the ankles per month. Oh, joy.
As Dick says I have tons of it.

Mr. & Mrs. L. & Martha are coming up
Friday to Sunday. I think Boo & I had
better go off & get hitched on the prospects.
Gee it would be nice but no such luck.

I had hog cholera among my 108 pigs
and have lost 8 by death. Tough but
one must expect such things as that.

Well, Sneddie dear, I will let you
know more next time as to the outcome
of things and wishing you success &
happiness and with fondest love

As ever,

Your loving brother
Jocelyn
