AUGUST 8.
Just as nice as ever and just now it is putting on
style for it is raining quite nicely. Will and Lew
hauled 4 loads of wheat and the stack is in a poor fix
to get a rain. Bert and I irrigated over on the
hill and in the cornfield. Got along tolerable
well and that is all we did get.

Friday
AUGUST 9.
Quite nice and sprinkled a little to day and
quite a little rain last night so that it is
wet down about 1 1/2 inches. We finished irrigating
the piece of corn in the NW corner and the piece
of alfalfa over on the west side and the orchard
and irrigated some in the other cornfield and
finished stacking the wheat and fenced in the
oats and nearly fenced the wheat stacks.
