Tues
AUGUST 6.
Rather warm but I guess that it couldnt help it.
Will Dixon came this morning and they all three
hauled. They hauled 3 loads of hay in the forenoon
and three loads of oats in the afternoon.
I busied myself by irrigating in two or three
places and hoeing some fixing bridge some
and various odd jobs so that I didnt get into
mischief much.

AUGUST 7.
Wed
Nice as ever. Will and Lew hauled one load of
oats and 4 of wheat. Bert and I irrigated with
plenty of water for our supply came from the
dry creek ditch and the lake. We run it on to
the corn in the NW corner and on to the
alfalfa piece over on the hill. The Larimer Co
ditch is dead again.
