SEPTEMBER 30. Mon Very fine day. Lew hauled the punkins [pumpkins] and squashes and the leming corn up at the Windy hill place brought some down here. I mowed the thick places of alfalfa up at the Windy Hill place in the forenoon and in the afternoon I mowed over on the hill made quite a little start over there.
