A Purge for Choller and the Liver
Take the powder of Rubarb one dromm
with six graines of the pulpe Trochisse
of Colliquintida in white wine or Broth.

A purge of Agarick the which
cleanseth the Brest & head of
all superfluous humours

Take th e Trochisses of Agarick the Apothecaries
one Dromm, of Colliquintida graines, powder
of Anniseeds 2 scruples, mixe those together
being in small powder; & giue itt in Honey; or
white wine or broath

To Purge Watery Humors

Take Powder of Hormodactills one dramm, or a
Dramm & a half of Ginger 2 scruples, of Anni {=}
seeds, and scruple; mixe those together & giue
them in honey; or thine Broath; itt must be
honey of Roses.

A Pectorall Drink

Take scabious, Coalts foot, Maiden haire & Hysope
of each one handfull, fennell & parslye roots pithed
of each a handfull; ffiggs & Raisins of the summe
stoned of each a pound, four ounces of Anniseeds
boyle those in 2 Gallons of runninge water till
half be wasted, then put in an Earthen vessell &
Drink thereof 6 or 7 times a Day

A Pill for the Bloody fluxx

Take Alloes, Terra Lemnia, Bolearmomack
Frankincense, Mastick, Galls, of each 2 Dromms
Dragons blood, bleedstone, Hoematick of each one tis
scruple, harts tongue burnt one Dromm hypocis
Acatia, Red corrall, of each halfe a Dromm,
Pomegranate-flowers; Redrose blossomes all in
fine powder, of each a scruple, Mix them altogether
and make them into Pills with Syrup of Mirtle
The Dose is one Dramm
