This watter may be distilled in a pewter still.
An Exelent surfett watter
Take a quarte of small aquiavita 60 raisons of
stoned one drame of rubarb slised thine one quarter of
an ounce of Cinamond one graine of muske put all thes
together in a glase bottell & let thes ingredents lye in
constantly untill all your watter be spente this is also
good for any illness att e stomacke you may take 3 or 4
or 5 sponfulls at a tyme as you se ocation you must tye
your muske in a thine ragge & soe hange it in your bottell
a mounth in e sunne if it be summer.
A Receipt of treacle watter
Take one ounce of hartshorne & boyle it in 3 pintes of
springe watter untill it come to a quarte n take e roots
of Elecompaney Jentian Chipes & tormentill of each an
ounce burrage buglose Rosmarey flowers of each 2 ounces
of Citeron rindes one ounce n take 10 ounces of ould
veneus Treacle e best & dissolve it in 6 pintes of whit wine
& 3 pintes of rosewatter & soe infuse it & mixe it all to-
gether & distill it
e diference that I make is insteade of halfe e rosewatter
I put in as much cardus watter twise distilled & one ounce
of marey gold flowers

Take may flowers & distill
e party a sponfull in 6 sponfulls of bere & lay ther handes
by ther sides halfe an hower soe let m sweat as longe as
they can & be carfull of cold
To make popey watter
Take 3 gallons of stronge alle & 4 pound of popey flowers
being picked from e seedes & stalkes soe stepe in all
night & still it in a limbecke its good allmost for
every greife 5 or 6 sponfulls at a tyme with a litell sugar

of balme 2 ounces of Sinamand broken in peces let all the
be infused in an earthen pott with 5 pints of Claret
wine 4 dayes together n bruse e Chereys with your
hand & put all thes things in an ordinary still let it
still softly save e strongest by it selfe 3 or 4 sponfulls
at a tyme is enough with a sponfull of surop of Clove
Gilleflowers you may take more of e smallest it is
good for e harte a woman in Child bed may take it

gelley made of hartshorne wher in you shall infuse

decocted
This is good for maney thinges as against
burning feavor Consumption e small pox & it will
presarve age health and streingth.
