they got in four hours after I
did.

The quarantine was taken off
last Monday, and everything is
running O.K. again. I don't think
they know yet just what was
the matter with the men that were
sick but they didn't have scarlet
fever I don't think.

I am enclosing an article
that I cut out of the San Diego
Tribune today regarding the
spelling of Camp Kearny so you
won't have to worry whether you
are spelling it correctly or not.

Well Newah, it has been cold
ever since I came back and I
am writing this in the mess hall
so think I had better say good-night
before I freeze to death.
