5:45 Guests of Miss Jane Cowl, "In Lilac Time", at the Eltinge Theatre, 236 West 42 St., Very cute show, and Jane was fine. She gave each of us one of here pictures. talking the fellows managed to smooth it off a little for me. I went down to see him right after dinner, but was unable.

3:30 P.M. Tea at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 46th St. & Madison Ave. The manager of the hotel gave us the use of the ball-room, one reception room, and small dining room. Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Jackling gave us $1300 to be divided among the boys for spending money for the extra week we have to stay in N.Y. There were 14 ambulances donated at Jane Cowl's Theatre Party and enough more were donated at the Ritz-Carlton to bring it up to 45.

7:30 P.M. Banquit at The Waldorf Astoria given by the U.C. Alumni. Before dinner I got the oppertunity
