Dear mother:

Sunday is here again so will answer your letter written on the 16th of March. I have been receiving my mail quite regular the last several months and am glad of it. Hope you are receiving mine. Rec'd the bunch of Heralds and comic papers the other day and was glad to get them & see what was going on in the old town. Doubt if I will know any one when I get back as so many are dying of the Flu. I wrote Joe Riel and Jimmy Pruian yesterday & sent them some post cards
