Here is wishing you a happy May day. I think it is better for our helth that we spend May Day at sea in Italy. There are to be big demonstrations all over Italy today.

Venice is a very interesting old place. The bridge in this picture was built in the 5th century. Gondolas are very nice to ride in if you are in no hurry. Phil.

On the boat from Venice to Trieste May 1 '19

Spent yesterday in Venice sightseeing. This afternoon we are going to take in a little of the Austrian and Italian battle frunat. The ship is rolling plenty and there are plenty of people lookng rather low. Phil.
