Paris, Jan. 17, 1919.
Dear Hazel & Ethel: Took a trip out to Chantilly Sunday and visited this old castle, built in 1560. It was occupied by the Germans for 24 hours in 1914. Am enjoying my work immensely and it is wonderful to be here during these times. Best wishes to you both and to your mother -Mason A. Hardin 1st Lieut. A.R.C. Paris, France.
