I got four solo hops in an hour and fourty minutes this morning, and three more hops this evening. Got all good landings but one.

Dutch Pryer got bumped off in my "23" solo class this morning. Hubbard's funeral was this afternoon. He lingered for three days in the hospital before passing out.

I was just thinking. I have lost seven friends since coming to Issoudun.

Tuesday Aug. 20, '18.

Dutch was buried this afternoon. I was up in the air this morning until I was dead tired. Felt kindof sick tonight. Didn't fly.

Wednesday Aug. 21, '18.

Finished up on [deleted]10 Eight 23[deleted] Twenty Threes and Averol today. Went up for air work this morning and my gas tank broke open
