Saturday Aug 24. '18.

Rained this morning, no flying. Grub and I tried to get a pass for Limoges.

Art Stohler was killed yesterday while on cross-country. He died in the hospital. He is the ninth friend to go.

I got some good flying in spiral machine this afternoon. Was up for an hour and twenty minutes.

Sunday Aug 25. '18.

Went down town this morning and met Grub. Hary Webb, Grub and I had a very nice dinner. Grub and I came home on a truck.

Monday Aug. 26 '18.

I made seventeen straight landings this morning without getting out of the machine, and it was terribly bumpy.

Tuesday Aug. 27 '18.

Got my loose spiral done this morning. Grub and I went swimming this afternoon and saw a French wedding. Grub and I finished our tight spirals. I was the first machine up. They were great sport.

Wednesday Aug 28 '18.

Moved to Field #5. Grub and I had a great argument with Cole so that we could get bunks together. I got in four landings on "15" tonight. They are great little ships, but you have to be awake when you fly them.

Thursday Aug 29 '18.

I got in 18 landings today and lached to air work.
