Trustees.
Voted, – that the subject be postponed to the next meeting of the Board.
A verbal communication was received from Mr Lawrence in behalf of the Committee on Grounds in regard to a supply of water for a fountain at Halcyon Lake; also for a supply for a small fountain on Elm Avenue near the lot of the late Peter Hubbell, proposed to be presented to the Corporation by his Widow. On motion of Mr Lawrence
Halcyon Lake supply of water for fountain at authorized:
Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be authorized to make arrangements with the Water Board of the City of Cambridge for supplying water for a fountain at Halcyon Lake, and to make all necessary connection with the water pipes for that purpose.
Also for fountain on Elm Av.
Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be authorized to furnish water for a small fountain on Elm Avenue, if they shall deem it for the interest of the corporation; and make the necessary connection with the Cambridge water pipes for that purpose

On motion of Mr Turner, it was
Voted, – that the general subject of water supply for the Cemetery be referred to the Committee on Grounds to consider and report.

Voted, – that the President be requested to report to this Board the facts in relation to the claim made upon this Corporation by William Washburn, architect, for services in preparation of plan for the Reception House.

Monthly Schedule of Bills referred to President
A file of bills with accompanying schedule having been submitted to the Board by the Treasurer, in compliance with the requirements of the By=Laws, and the schedule having been read by the President, it was
Voted, – that said bills be referred to the President for his approval, and payment by the Treasurer if found correct.
Drinking=Fountain. Offer from Mrs Peter Hubbell to present.
The President submitted to the Board a communication from Mrs Peter Hubbell of Charlestown, dated , offering to present to the Corporation a Drinking=Fountain, " provided " that the corporation will place said Fountain in a small plot of " land on Elm Avenue at the junction of Mistletoe Path, and " agree to its being always supplied with pure water when the " other fountains in the grounds are in use." The communication was accompanied by drawings of the proposed Fountain, and by a letter from the Superintendent dated the ., containing an estimate of the probable cost to the Corporation of placing the same.
