Dear Sir,

I find the only available space for sale between your Lot and that immediately north of you is 1.3 which I can let you have at the same rate as you paid for your Lot. Should you wish to make a purchase of all or a part of the space I have named I shall be happy to arrange it for you with either by letter ^or on the grounds with you

Dear Madam,

Your note of 16th inst is recd & contents noted.

We shall be happy to set stone steps free of charge on Dianthus Path, where you wish, if you purchase the requisite number viz 3, from some stone dealer & have them delivered to the ground, as is customary on such cases.

For a similar case I would refer you to Mrs Loring Proprietor of L 896, Olive Path who had some steps put in at the south end of Dianthus Path, leading from Myrtle Path, with a year or two of her own expense except setting which was done free of charge

Yours respectfully Jas W. Lovering Supt per AC

Dear Sir,

Messrs Brown & Dalrymple called at the Cemetery today & requested to be shown the items of their Bill rendered 348 84/100. On going over their Bill with them they said there were two items viz

2 days jointing stone 10.00
2 days taking out, setting & leading border stone 6.25
16.25
which sum should have been charged to Gillman & not to them owing to the workmen spoiling a stone which Gillman promised to replace at his own expense. Please inform me as to your recollection of the transaction as Messrs Brown & Dalrymple wish us to render Messrs J.F. & F.L. Gillman a separate Bill for the two items as stated above.

Yours respectfully Jas W. Lovering Supt per AC

Wm H. Whitney Esq. Dear Sir,

Your favor of 30th inst is before me & in reply to say that the cost of resodding your Lot 1401 Asclepias Path will not exceed $35.00/100 (Thirty five dollars). I'd decidely recommend having myrtle graves as I consider they tend to beautify a Lot, the prices being for adult graves 8.00/100 (eight dollars) & for children graves $5.00/100 (five dollars)

Yours respectfully Jas W Lovering, Supt Per A.C.
