J. W. Lovering Supt. Mt. Auburn Cemy.
Dear Sir -
I visited Mt. Auburn Sunday and from general appearance judge^ my lot^ it has not yet been graded or sodded. I have given order today to O. M. Wentworth to erect headstone in the lot. As soon as this is done, wd like to have lot put in order - would like 2 plats in front for flowers - also the grave myrtled. If possible would also like the present large corner posts removed and the smaller octaganal ones [subtr-?] [tracted?]
Will you kindly push the foundation to early completion & oblige Yrs truly A T Turner Jr

Mr. Lovering --
Dear Sir—
I do not wish to appear as a "continual complainant" but on my visit to Mt Auburn Sunday last I found the grass in what I do not consider first class care. And by this I mean that the grass is in places very coarse & full of weeds and the condition is such generally as not to have a very pleasing effect.
I am aware of the difficulty caused by present dryness as I have my own lawn to take care of and in my opinion the difficulty with my lot is primarily in the poorness of the turf and nothing but better turf will improve it.
I presume the flowers I ordered will be set out this
