Dear Lydia,

Just a line to let you know I recieved your two post cards and letter of the 20th of Sept and was glad to get them as I like to hear from you. I am going drop Gertrude Douglas a post card with greetings from Camp Kelly on it.

We are allowed to have a camera all we have to do is to show the pictures of the camp that we take to the picture censurer so as he can pass on them and if they are all right he will let us send them

Just a line to let you know I recieved you letter of Sept 23rd and was glad to hear from you and also glad to hear that Gertrude Douglas sent you and the folks a Box of Peaches.

Herb Johnson was glad to get that Post Card from you and he is ging to answer it in the morning so you cna expect an answer from him.

I am also glad to hear that Taid got my Camera and I will be awfully pleased

What do you think of my fancy writing paper some class to me I guess I just bought this paper to write East to my cousins with a lot of the Boys have bought it just for the purpose of writing to some of their friends with I am going to write Gertrude Douglas a letter on some of it she will think I am sporty gink I guess. I know that Mrs Francis and know where she lives in the City as I delivered some plants to her house when I was working for MacRorie and McLaren.

Why dont you go and take a look at that land show it will be very interesting for you to look at. I recieved the five that Mother sent me so do not worry about it as I got it O.K.

I have sent you fourteen pictures I think it was if I am not mistaken you ought to have them long before you get this letter as they were sent a week ago if I am not mistaken.
