Trustees.

An adjourned monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on Wednesday , at half past Three o'clock P.M.

Present, Messrs. J. T. Bradlee, N. J. Bradlee, Brewer, Choate, Lawrence, Perkins, Pickering, Snow and Turner.

The record of the last meeting was read and approved.

Indian-Ridge Fountain Av. grading & sodding authorized

On suggestion of the President, it was, on motion of^Mr Turner

Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be, and they hereby are authorized to cause that portion of the bank of Indian-Ridge on Fountain Avenue, commencing at or near Linnaea Path, and Extending say 120 feet, to be graded and sodded in accordance with plan prepared by the Superintendent, – at an expense not exceeding five hundred and fifty dollars, ($550.–)

Stone farm territory to be laid out in accordance with Supt.'s Plan of.

The subject of the laying-out and improvement of the Stone Farm territory having been discussed, in connection with the plan delineated by the Superintendent dated , – on motion of Mr N. J. Bradlee, it was

Voted, – that the laying-out of the Stone-farm territory, as shown upon a Plan prepared by the Superintendent, dated , be and the same is hereby approved and adopted by the Trustees.

''Landscape-lawn'' system, – [Debate in regard to.]

After a full consideration of the subject of making sales of Lots in this portion of the Cemetery subject to such reservations as will carry out "the landscape-lawn system," so called, it was moved by Mr N. J. Bradlee, –

The Committee on Grounds reporting that they had deemed it expedient to extend the grading and sodding of the bank on Indian Ridge Path to a line extending from Lot No 4305 to Lot No 4039, so as to include Lot No 580, at an expense of $150.–, it was

Voted, – that the action of the Committee be approved.

Linnaea P. sodding near; appn for.

Voted, – to add to appropriations already made the further sum of $176.54 to cover the expense of sodding near Linnaea Path, which was not originally proposed.

Indian R. Path: estimate ordd of Cost of extending grading & sodding of bank on

On motion of Mr J. T. Bradlee, it was

Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be instructed to obtain an estimate of the cost of extending the grading and sodding of the bank on Indian Ridge Path to a point at or near the line of Lime Avenue.

Fountain Av. change in laying out of.

The President having exhibited a plan for a change in the laying out of Fountain Av., prepared under the advice of the Superintendent, and recommended by the Committee on Grounds, it was

Voted, – that the laying out of Fountain Av. be, and the same is hereby modified in such manner as to conform to the plan exhibited to this Board, prepared by the Superintendent, and recommended by the Committee on Grounds
